HOW TO DRESS FOR UNHOLY
Costume is expected — but this is Masqué, so make it count.
Choose a character, creature, fantasy, or alter ego — and interpret it through the Masqué wardrobe.
Vampires. Devils. Fallen angels. Witches. Villains. Dark brides. Priests. Pirates. Ghosts. Aristocrats. Creatures. Film characters. Beautiful monsters. Something entirely your own.
Come transformed.
The character can be outrageous. The execution should still feel Masqué: elevated, provocative, intentional, and beautifully put together.
Cheap, disposable costume-store looks are not the assignment.
Don’t wear a costume over your clothes. Dress as the character.
Then go into:
WOMEN
Begin with lingerie, corsetry, bodywear, fetishwear, or sensual eveningwear, then build the character through makeup, masks, wings, horns, veils, jewelry, headpieces, and other costume elements.
MEN
Begin with tailoring, fitted eveningwear, leather, fetishwear, or body-conscious clothing, then build the character around it.
